With the EU AI Act entering into force in 2025–2026, this session will focus on:

• Key implications of the EU AI Act for businesses across member states 

• How the Act is being incorporated into Latvia’s national legal framework 

• Compliance in practice: ethical implementation, risk assessment, and alignment with regulatory requirements

Speakers: Dr. Alessio Buscemi, Aiga Irmeja, Ēvalds Urtāns and additional expert speakers to be announced.

Latvian Support for Enterprises through EDIH and AI Studio This session will provide an overview of the support mechanisms and services available to businesses through the European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) and AI Studio. It will focus on practical steps for initiating AI adoption, accessing expert consultations, and leveraging available resources to ensure effective digital transformation and regulatory compliance.
